Those of you asking about a physical copy of Stuff the Status Quo will be happy to know the proof for the paperback cover wrap has just been signed off. Yay!
I reckon that has an onomatopoeia ring to it. A short hip-hop rap about a book cover. Either that, or this book publishing project is making me cray-cray.
The interior page typesetting had to be re-jigged. Booo, big thumbs down. Despite using a recommended book formatting program, the pagination came out incorrectly.
Did you know that page numbers in a printed book should flow as follows:
even numbers on the left hand page and
odd numbers on the right hand page?
That way, when the book is printed, the layout is in the correct order when the pages are folded and cut. Like this . . .
Anyway, despite the delay, an actual proof print of the book is finally about to hit the press. Then it will make its way to me, on wings and wheels, and land in the sleepy coastal hideaway I’m currently calling home.
As proof that I ‘practice what I preach in the #SSQ book, here’s a few pics of where I’ve lived in a lovely home rent-free for 5 months this year. How much money would you save if that was you? If you could cut the cost of rent or mortgage out of your life, for a short time or long-term, what would you do differently?

Congrats!!!! 🎉🎊 I love it!
Love it Kellie ❤
